Overview
A dental implant is a small titanium post placed in the jawbone, where it acts like the root of a tooth. Once it has healed, a crown is attached to give you a tooth that looks, feels and works much like a natural one.
Implants can replace a single tooth, several teeth or support a bridge, without grinding down neighbouring healthy teeth. Dr. Arash completed advanced training in dental implantology in Pakistan in 2024, and plans each case around your bone, gums and bite.
This may be recommended when
- One or more teeth are missing
- A tooth cannot be saved and needs replacing
- A removable denture feels loose or uncomfortable
- You prefer not to prepare healthy teeth for a bridge
